Spring is in the air. That means hearing the robins start to chirp and watching the crocus and tulips start to bloom. But it also means warming water, which can bring on water quality problems in our rivers and streams.
That’s why we need your SUPPORT before our fiscal year ends on March 31, 2018. Help us raise $40,000 to deploy experts and citizen scientists into the field this spring and summer to collect crucial data on algae and their impact on water quality. Our 2018 water quality studies will become the basis for a pollution reduction plan for the Harpeth River, a collaboration with state and local governments, the EPA, and other partners throughout the watershed.
Please, support our mission with a donation that is as transformative
as assuring clean water for generations to come.
We are the river, United we are the solution.
And, join Water Reporter to become directly involved in monitoring and protecting your rivers. Whether you cross a stream on your drive to work, walk or bike a greenway occasionally, or are on the river every chance you get, is a great way to be the eyes and ears of our waterways!
Your gift supports Harpeth Conservancy’s vision of clean water and healthy ecosystems for the rivers of Tennessee, championed by the people who live here.
